Tashi Delek! Welcome to Taktser Homestay, nestled in the urban heart of Darjeeling town. Named after our native village in Tibet, it is housed in a WWII-era, Art Deco-styled Shiva Bhawan. Originally part of the Maharaja of Cooch Behar's estate and now restored with modern comforts. The property became our family home 7 decades ago. Experience relaxation and privacy in our B&B, where we honour the legacy of one-time resident, late Mrs. Diki Dolkar, founder of the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre, Darjeeling.
We are conveniently located on Gandhi Road, which is a leisurely seven-minute walk to the Mall. Shops, cafes and restaurants are easily accessible from our Homestay.
